About Us

Lovely Pets was founded in 1984 by Ken Shay and Ken Oberg.
The original store was on School Street in Quincy and moved to Parkingway in 1988. In 2002 Ken and Ken sold Lovely Pets to Steve and Marlea Richmond.
They operated Lovely Pets in Quincy for many years.
At the end of 2019 the Richmond’s moved Lovely Pets Aquarium to its current location in Kingston.
We are happy to be here in our new home and look forward to many years in Kingston.
